TRASH TO TREASURE FLOWERS...

I can help picking up stray white silk flowers out of the sale bin in any craftstore.  This is what I make out of them.  I layer the sizes, hold them together with a sequin and a brad...then I ink the up edges with my Kaleidacolor Rainbow Ink pad in the color I need to match my artwork.  Then the magic happens...I mist them with my homemade glimmer mist so the shades lightly bleed into each other for a watercolor look.  I love making something pretty out of nothing...I did a step by step tutorial on my other blog, here is the link http://misspeachsmeowz.blogspot.com/2011/06/monet-watercolor-blossoms.html  maybe you might be inspired to play along.

STEAMPUNK ALTERED ALTOID TIN SWAP

I made this ATC and tin for my partner Kim on our BlissfulArt group.  I really love the steampunk theme.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD...

Thank you Kim for hosting this very fun swap!  I love my little houses...they fit so perfectly into the back of my book after I attached them to eachother.
The beautiful little German girl came from Sandy Scholz in Germany...love the look on her face!
This beautiful gypsy and her big bad wolf came from Becky Loyall...love the muted dark colors!
Little sweet Red came from Janet Ghio...what a sweet little house!
